Minister Nathi Mthethwa to Launch the Performing Arts Database Booklet as part of Ministerial Imbizo

Mthethwa on SABCThe launch of the Performing Arts Database Booklet forms part of the Ministerial Imbizo that seeks to harness ideas from the public and local artist in Seshego. Minister Mthethwa will use the Imbizo to engage various artists within the Arts, Culture and Heritage sector to promote the work of the Department of Arts and Culture (DAC).

The Minister has convened this special Imbizo to engage and expose young aspiring artists to both local and international market while at the same time create an enabling environment for skills transfer and collaborations.

The Imbizo also aims strengthen government’s efforts in the implementation of the government programme of action as well as government’s monitoring and evaluation system.

  1. Hello DAC!
    I would like to host a similiar event in kwaZulu Natal to give the artists in and around Durban a chance to show case their talent and also bring together the community of Reservoir Hills as there have been signs of racial barriers and also cultural barries in the community. But I would love to be assisted with sponsors to make it happen by The Department of Arts and Culture.
